Security engineering within the Altari environment.
AI Defence is the public identity for Remedy Defence’s security assessment and protection programme. It sits within Altari Systems, the UK bespoke software and AI engineering company, alongside Remedy’s software debugging platform and Nexus’s engineering control plane.
A distinct security remit
The Defence specification addresses infrastructure security posture and ongoing protection: networks, servers, identities, applications, cloud workloads, databases and the software supply chain. Its first-entry requirement is an observational audit, an understandable report and an explicit decision before changes.
The programme is designed to use AI for explanation, evidence correlation and diagnosis while keeping authority and verification explicit. An interpretation is not a permission, and a generated recommendation does not prove a successful repair.
Three complementary product roles
AI Defence focuses on security assessment, authorised hardening and continuous threat or vulnerability monitoring. Remedy’s debugger focuses on software defects: collecting evidence, diagnosing a problem, proposing a source-code repair and verifying the outcome. Nexus governs autonomous software delivery around coding agents.
A security finding may need an application fix, and a software fix may need a controlled release. Those connections make the products complementary without collapsing their different scopes into one promise of universal autonomous control. Cross-product automation should be relied upon only where its implementation is confirmed.
Technical claims with a visible product status
This website publishes the 7 September 2026 first-entry specification and explains its intended operating model. Existing Remedy runtime and repair foundations inform that model. They do not establish general availability of the entire Defence catalogue.
