The specification is the product scope

The 7 September 2026 first-entry specification defines 25 assessment and protection areas, from inventory and exposure through authorisation, verification and continuous monitoring. The full catalogue on this site lists every defined check, control and workflow item.

That document is a requirements record. It does not provide a release matrix, a successful production test for every check or a service-level agreement. The wording “designed to” on product pages reflects that distinction.

Existing Remedy foundations

The reviewed Remedy archive contains implementation material for the Reporter and SDK evidence paths, an outbound server Agent, capability-based permissions, local allowlists, bounded runtime evidence, health and API probes, and controlled service or container actions. It also documents a repository repair and verification lifecycle.

The archive’s security review concerns Remedy’s own controls. It does not demonstrate the new Defence network audit, malware detection, cloud security inventory or complete continuous threat monitoring system. Controlled test evidence must not be described as comprehensive live production validation.

What needs confirmation before deployment

Confirm supported operating systems, network discovery methods, credentials and access boundaries, collector coverage, vulnerability intelligence sources, supported cloud or repository connectors, permitted remediation actions and post-change verification. Data retention, privacy controls, monitoring cadence, failure reporting and recovery arrangements also need an agreed implementation.
